Family Law Lawyer, Tracy Bannier, joins Patterson Law

Pictou County based Family Law Lawyer, Tracy Bannier, will be joining Patterson Law’s prominent Family Law Group effective June 1st, 2022.

Raising Patterson Law’s active lawyer count to 55, Bannier will be rejoining her former colleagues in Patterson Law’s New Glasgow office located in the Aberdeen Business Centre, 610 East River Road, Suite 260.

I am excited to be back in practice following my maternity leave and am happy to join many of my former colleagues at Patterson Law.” Says, Tracy Bannier, “The added benefit of continuing to practice in my hometown is also an opportunity I’m again looking forward to and continue to be grateful for.”

Tracy’s legal practice focuses on Family Law where she has a sub-specialty in Fertility Law and has represented clients hoping to grow their families with the assistance of gestational surrogates. Additionally, she has an interest in complex family relationships and has represented clients at the Canadian Human Rights Commission, the Social Security Tribunal, and at both Supreme Court and Provincial Court in Nova Scotia and Newfoundland and Labrador.

Tracy obtained her law degree in 2014 from the University of New Brunswick and received her Bachelor of Recreation from Memorial University of Newfoundland in 2006. Tracy was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2015.
