Welcome New Partners in 2012

Patterson Law is proud to announce the appointment of Adriana L. Meloni and Jared B. Schwartz as Partners in January 2012. 

Adriana Meloni is a member of our litigation team and offers clients a wide range of legal expertise. Adriana will continue to focus a significant portion of her practice in the areas of insurance and medical malpractice law. Adriana is Co-Chair of our Articling and Recruitment Committee and has lectured at Schulich School of Law at Dalhousie University and the Nova Scotia Agricultural College. She is a member of several professional affiliations, and is the current Vice Chair of the Insurance subsection of Canadian Bar Association (Nova Scotia Chapter). Adriana lives in Dartmouth with her husband and two small children. 

Jared Schwartz has extensive experience in providing solutions to owner-managed businesses, advising clients on a broad range of business law matters including the buying and selling of businesses, commercial financing, property purchases, and franchise and licensing matters. His clients range from owner managed start-up enterprises to large corporations with a focus on professional practices. Jared has lectured at the Dalhousie University Faculty of Management and regularly speaks and publishes on topics related to business acquisition, structuring, and financing. He currently sits on the Board of the Family Services Association and is the Vice Chair of the Business law subsection of Canadian Bar Association (Nova Scotia Chapter). 

Both Adriana and Jared are welcome additions to the partnership.
